Manager - Taxation - CA (4-7 yrs)

Manager- Taxation


Direct Tax:


- Ensuring timely filing of tax returns and completion of tax assessment of Holding Company and all SPVs

- Ensuring timely availability of lower tax deduction certificates if required and regular follow up tax refunds

- Regular review of all tax positions

- Handling of Income Tax Scrutiny Assessment and Appeals

- Finalization of the Provision for Tax and Deferred Tax for the monthly Financials.


Indirect Taxes:


- Ensuring timely filing of tax returns for all indirect taxes and completion of an assessment of Holding Company and all SPVs

- Review of all agreements and contracts for tax effectiveness

- Regular review of all tax positions

Dealing with Departments & Consultants:

- Dealing with all the Department of Taxes regarding assessment cases pending

- Dealing with Income Tax Department regarding refund issues

- Availing TDS Exemption Certificates

- Information of changes to be informed to various authorities like Income Tax, DVAT, Service Tax, IEC etc.

Tax Planning :

- Oversee tax planning with regard to the indirect taxes like VAT, Service tax, WCT for various projects

- Update on latest development on taxation applicable to the organisation and plan tax accordingly Statutory Compliances & Audits:

- Oversee 100% statutory compliance i.e tax deposits and return of all direct and indirect taxes

- Handling finalization of the financials, statutory audits and internal audit of the company

- Issuing TDS Certificates to the parties
