- Chartered Accountant with post qualification experience of 5-8 years
- B.com/ MBA with experience of 10-15 years
Top Responsibilities
- Responsible for all GST, Customs and other indirect tax compliance matters, ensure compliance with local, regional and global customs and trade laws, regulations or agreements
- Work on monthly/ quarterly/ annual tax computations and ensure that all applicable and due taxes are deposited with government within the required time frame
- To work and liaise with tax consultants on operational issues concerning corporate and indirect tax to ensure the company's interest is well protected while fully compliant with local legislation
- Analysing relevant transactions to determine their tax implications and ensure full compliance with local tax regulations
- Provide relevant advice and input concerning taxation matters to internal customers, leading to timely and efficient decision making and execution.
- To work and liaise with tax authorities on assessments and follow up of tax audits. Ensure that all issues are properly addressed and inform management about progress on a timely basis thus contributing to the favourable results of tax assessments/ audits
