- The traction in BFSI space viz. new bank licenses, amendments to NBFC regulations, conversion of foreign bank branches into subsidiaries, new regime for investment by portfolio investors, etc keeps the euphoria going. This coupled with the changing tax landscape (indirect transfer, GAAR, etc) presents a unique opportunity for the BFSI practice to create a mark in the market place.

- The existing clients of BFSI practice include marquee names from banking, insurance and other constituents of financial services industry to whom compliance and advisory services (both tax and regulatory) are provided.

Position - Manager

Location - Mumbai

- Chartered Accountant

- 5 years or above of work experience in tax and regulatory (FEMA and preferably working knowledge of Banking / NBFC Regulation, etc.) matters

- Accountable for the timely delivery of high quality engagements

- Build positive client relationships and demonstrate understanding of the client's requirements and business

- Be up-to-date on developments in tax and regulatory space - FEMA, NBFC, Insurance Regulations, etc.

- Assist senior members of team on prospective client pursuits

- Supervise effectively junior team members and take responsibility for reviewing their work

- Play a significant role in knowledge sharing

- Understand risk management procedures and ensure adherence thereto

- Delivery of multiple engagements with quality standards and as per the agreed timelines

- Good Communication/ Interpersonal skills

- Good Presentation skills

- Good client management skills

- Possess good analytical skills and the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment

- Strong knowledge in tax and basic working knowledge in FEMA, Banking / NBFC Regulations
