Manager - Talent Acquisition - Retail (5-10 yrs)
5 to 12 years Strong HR Recruitment & Operations Experience in Retail Industry . Sharp focus on handling recruitment of staff for Retail outlets & showrooms .
- Planning manpower requirements for the stores.
- Conducting screening of talent from internal & external sources
- Recruiting candidates for entry level positions and conducting primary rounds of interview for managerial cadre
- Negotiating salary for senior level and screening their backgrounds
- Preparing monthly payroll & MIS reports including arrears, salary adjustments, weekly / quarterly perks for on roll employees
- Ensuring completion of all the formalities for new employees; working closely with banks for opening salary accounts for new employees
- Maintaining employee personnel files in HRIS and regularly updating HR- Employee Master Database
- Mapping training needs of the employees and developing training calendars in cohesion with departmental heads; regularly updating training records
- Imparting initial product level trainings as well as basic etiquettes like grooming, customer dealing, communications and personality enhancement
- Developing and executing fun events for employees such as Fun-Meet, Hall of Fame, Birthdays, etc.
- Handling end-to-end activities related to performance appraisal process; identifying performance gaps and communicating the same to the employees while adhering to the company's PMS guidelines
- Issuing various internal communication letters pertaining to employee confirmation, transfer, salary revision, etc.
- Regularizing and updating leaves of the employees for monitoring their leave balances; handling cases that require disciplinary actions such as absconding employees
- Resolving employees- queries & grievances and helping them in adjusting to the organizational culture
- Following statutory norms under Shops & Establishment Act (1947) for maintaining the registers
- Liaising with labour bodies and dealing with labour issues
- Generating MIS reports for exit interviews every month; ensuring that full and final settlement (including PF) is accurately imparted to the former employees
