Manager - Talent Acquisition - Life Insurance - West (5-9 yrs)

We have one very urgent HR position in one of the best life insurance organizations across the following location :

BASE LOCATION - Ahmedabad

OFFERED CTC - negotiable + incentives ; depending upon current CTC.

POSITION - Manager Talent Acquisition - part of WEST zone [ Gujarat, Rajasthan, Nagpur zone ]

SPAN OF CONTROL : Gujarat, Rajasthan, Nagpur zone

REPORTEEs : 2 - 4 HR team members

INDICATIVE JOB PROFILE :

Talent Acquisition :

- Change the face of Talent Acquisition function to a more strategically driven business partnering function

- Lead the Talent Acquisition function across all Channel and therefore participate in the regional business meetings and periodic reviews with business

- Acting trusted adviser to the business, providing an in-depth understanding of the talent market and trends, and anticipating future developments that may impact our ability to attract and hire top talent.

- Build sensitivity in the business and drive usage of recruitment tools.

Improving Input Quality :

- Analyse the psychometric assessments of the current pool and derive quality measures. Formulate input quality improvement strategies around the same

- Developing and implementing cost effective sourcing mix, including the use of online, internal, direct, referrals, and agency sources.

- Support HO team in building a passive database of candidates by giving inputs on availability of talent from various sectors, business complexity, competition etc.

- Co-conceptualize and implement employer branding initiatives with HO to be an employer of choice so as to be able to attract better quality people

Building Assessment Capability :

- Ensuring the selection methodologies are aligned, clear, consistent and result in the right hiring decisions

- Drive Competency based Assessment with business, thereby ensuring standard selection process and high selection ratio.

- Coach and empower the sourcing team on quality parameters and understanding their business impact. To create an environment of quality consciousness.

Operational Excellence :

- Bring operational excellence within the Talent Acquisition function.

- Ensure that the team adheres to all metrics of Talent Acquisition as defined by HO.

- Streamline the current process by ensuring relevant training for all stakeholders in recruitment process

Team Development :

- Provide leadership and direction to team members - defining, supporting and delivering on the key strategic plans and initiatives for the business Retention and development of the Talent Acquisition team including ensuring that the necessary succession plans are in place.

- Ability to instil innovation in the team - around social media, building talent communities, next gen recruiting, expanding organisation ecosystem, etc.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES :

- Currently, handling talent acquisition (volume / bulk) . Current team handling definitely an advantage.

- Good knowledge of latest HR practices

- Should be from a reputed B School.

1) Percentage of hirings will be : Gujarat - 75% ; Rajasthan - 15% - 20% ; Nagpur - 5% - 10%

2) Need somebody who has managed scale

3) Extensive travelling is involved within the three locations.

4) Somebody who have done project management and Strategic planning
