Manager - Systems & Process Automation - FMCG Plant

- We need a person who has a background of both plant systems and process automation.

- Plant experience is a must.

JD Plant Systems & Process Automation.

Plant Systems:

- Responsible as Site Administrator for manufacturing (MF) Domain

- Support's LANs, WANs, Network Segments, Internet & Intranet System of MF Network (Making & OPERA Network)

- Maintain Systems efficiency, upkeep to latest upgrades, Troubleshoots problems reported by users

- Maintain integrity of the network and security.

- Make recommendations for future upgrades

- Maintains physical / Virtual server environment set up of manufacturing domain (Making and OPERA)

- Develop procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use.

- Develop procedures, programs and documentation for backup, restoration applications and report generations.

- Support Master Data Update and PPDS module.

- Closely work with GIT / W& CS / Global PFS team to address systemic process issues in timely manner.

Process Automation:

- Work with Plant / Plant System Team / System Integrators / OEM's to ensure the smooth functioning of Sites PLC and Wonder-ware InTouch SCADA applications.

- Responsible for developing / updating new formula recipes in InBatch server for entire capacity and also do changes in the existing recipe to reflect the changes in the manufacturing SPI

- Extend process software application to drive standardization of work practices in all Focus Factories.

- Ensures Wonder-Ware Qualification, Maintenance and Updates

- Responsible for Driving continuous improvements and automation through improvements projects to achieve operational excellence.

- Maintains Server / PLC set up of OPERA set up plant wide and Backups

- Responsible for updating new finishing requirement in MES System for entire capacity.

- Responsible for designing and developing new control systems and testing, maintaining and modifying existing system.

- Work with Focus Factory Managers / Plants on Control System obsolescence and take steps to upkeep the obsolescence management.

Leads the QS&G standard of Facility Calibration Standard

- Draw calibration plans for the facility based on the instruments impacts on the EOHS and Quality of the product.

- Ensure calibration of master Instruments with national /international standards

- Communicate the compliance of Calibration

- Responsible to report FFM's about defects OR out of calibration limits found in the instruments which can impacts product quality to take necessary steps.

- Ensure that all critical measuring instruments are covered in Calibration program.

- Responsible for compliance to Weights and Measures system related with stamping, calibration and external audits.
