Manager - Supply Chain Planning - Retail (5-10 yrs)
Material Supply Planning:
- Manages inventory levels across production plants and regions
- Devise category-wise strategies to optimize on inventory costs
- Work with sourcing team to develop better relationships with vendor partners, for vendor managed inventories and developing production capacities at vendor end
- Monitors and corrects inventory levels at outside warehouses and internally to ensure rotation and maximize working capital.
- Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to determine and set up intercompany transfers.
- Works directly with sales department to determine most cost-effective distribution solution for finished goods transportation to customers.
Production Planning:
- Devise daily/weekly/monthly production plan for commissaries and production plants
- Work with fulfilment teams to ensure all production facilities are adequately prepared for business scale-up in terms of manpower and infrastructure requirement.
Demand Planning:
- Continuously work with the Caf operations team to translate overall demand to SKU level demand keeping seasonality and marketing offers into account.
- Work with Ecommerce and B2B sales team to translate business sales forecast to SKU level demand
- Keep continuous track of changing demand and continuously update supply planning
