Manager - Supply Chain Planning - FMCG (3-10 yrs)
Reporting to the Planning & Distribution lead, you will be responsible for:
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Develop detailed understanding of manufacturing constraints and capabilities of the manufacturing locations being planned, providing regular feedback and information to drive medium term tactical and long-term strategic discussion.
- To develop supply plan in line with optimal total delivered cost across the function in alignment with finance and supply chain function with assurance of supplies as per business needs.
- Drive distribution planning with orientation to optimize inventory across the organization for RMPM & Finished good products
- To build the capacities for future based on sales demand and trends.
- Communicate with production facilities and Corporate Supply Chain team as well as Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and Customer Service
- Focus on Modern Trade / E-com business requirements & meet the demand as per desired schedules and freshness norms.
- Assess current inventory levels and forecasts to make appropriate business decisions that minimize working capital and achieve corporate working capital and service level objectives.
- Actively participate and support successful coordination with involved stakeholders for any NPD launches and R&D trails
