Job Description:

- Responsible for sourcing, planning and procurement of all raw materials / packaging / finished goods.

- On-board further world class 3PMs or build up internal manufacturing to allow rapid growth of business in new markets and allow India to become a premier manufacturing hub for the group, e.g., for aerosols, acid-based products, cleaners & disinfectants, metal working fluids, wipes, sachets, and fuel additives.

- Be driver of group innovation, e.g., by having strong relationship with leading edge raw materials / packaging suppliers and 3PMs.

- Manage the full spectrum of logistics activities and supervise 3PL/4PL logistics team to ensure the smooth running of operations, including inbound shipments, inventory management, warehousing management, and local distribution arrangement in India.

- Manage the manufacturing and warehousing footprint in India to achieve optimised service level and costs.

- Responsible for monitoring the performance of service providers to improve cost and quality to fulfill the Company standard.

- Vendor relationship management, interactions with freight forwarders & customs agents and make recommendations to improve service.

- Teamwork with regional planning team, purchasing team & regulatory to ensure smooth supply from production to product on shelf.

- Support and guide the Customer Service team on logistics issues.

- Analyse and appraise the effectiveness of supply chain processes to maximize customer order fulfillment performance.

- Identify under-performing areas in the supply chain and suggest improvements or resolutions to problems.

- Develop, implement, track, and improve key performance metrics consistent with business objectives.

Must have:

- Minimum 10-12 years of Supply Chain, Sourcing and Procurement experience in a related chemical industry

- Chemical Engineering / Chemistry experience

- Fluent in English / Hindi / Tamil

- Be a self-starter and pro-active.

- SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
