Manager - Supply Chain Management - Chemicals Manufacturing Firm (12-18 yrs)

We have an exciting oppurtunity for Manager -SCM with an leading manufacturer of Specialty Chemicals in Pune.

Experience - 12-18 years.

Location - Pune (Raigad)

Job Description :

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Collect quotes from different logistics vendors and present it to management for commercial decision.

2. Assist management for long term and short-term commercial strategies

3. Contract with strategic partners within India and outside India

4. Collect market intelligence and benchmark cost in logistics within and outside India

5. Provide right logistics cost on periodic basis to management for product pricing purpose

6. Ensure compliance on EXIM/TRADE related matter for their global supply chain

7. Create dash boards on different KPIs in supply chain for management reviews

8. Help management to digitise supply chain

9. Coordination with logistics operations team, pricing team and finance to address all commercial issues on timely basis

10. Handle different audits internal and external for logistics and ensure timely action and compliance.

Essentials :

1. Strong understanding of EXIM logistics, shipping lines, trade compliance, DGFT, Customs and EOU.

2. Strong commercial acumen

3. Understanding of contracts, INCOTERMS

4. Good in analytics
