Company Profile: We have a vacancy as Manager-Strategy based at Worli, Mumbai for our clients who are a highly successful, fast growing, professionally managed FinTech organisation. The organisation is very well funded by some of the World's most prestigious PE firms, has over 10 branches in Inida, book size of over Rs.900 crores andheadcount of over 600#. The position reports to the Director-Finance. The organisation is a non-deposit taking FinTech organisation registered with RBI. They are engaged in a highly profitable niche segment of lending business targeting small and medium sized retailers who find it difficult to get financed by traditional financial institutions. The loan offering is quite unique in terms of its parameters such as monetisation of future cash flows from payment cards swiped on Point-of-Sale terminal, flexibility in repayment, and partnership spirit.

It is a one-of-the-kind offering and has created a separate industry in the country. They have developed a specialised technology platform to cater to our special product. They also have CIBIL membership and access to consumer as well as commercial credit data. The company is driven by innovation, technology and entrepreneurial spirit in each sphere.

The company has developed a business framework which not only encompasses traditional lending segments but also has a strong customer relationship program. The development of this framework has led to engagement programs which have been customised for merchants and hence have a relation which would be independent of the loan. This is a unique feature in the product bouquet and leads to opportunities in having a very strong fee based presence in the financials.

The company operates out of its head office in Mumbai.

The position is expected to be closed by end-February.

Job Description: The position holder will be part of the Corporate Strategy Team, report to the VP-Corporate Affairs and work closely with MD

KRAs:

- Actively contribute in various presentations on business plans, growth, opportunities, and challenges.

- Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing data requirements

- Program Manage/PMO a variety of special projects for the leadership team and in house business analysis and consulting team, which are strategic in nature

- Tracking internal performance - business performance reports, drive business performance diagnostics and set up a review with function heads

- Industry analysis and bringing out key takeaways from industry reports

- Compete scan, specifically from financial analysis point of view

- Act as SPOC for various industry bodies, liaison on behalf of the client for workshops/seminars/industry research surveys etc.

- Maintaining a shared database of industry reports and data (Trello, Shared drive)

- To work on Corporate Awards for the organization (Registration, Process write-up, documentation support etc.)

- Support the MD in all daily strategic matters as part of the MD's office

Attend critical business meetings along with the MD and ensure timely closure of key deliverables

Organize & coordinate business meetings for the MD with key external stakeholders and help the MD in preparation for the same

Help with MD Communique, content/talking point for Webinar, conference, seminar

Logistical co-ordination for branch/regional visits planned for MD

Competencies:

- Must be detail-oriented and proactive in every approach

- Must be self-motivated, intellectually curious, and have a global perspective on business opportunities

- Well-developed business sense and a dedicated work ethic to deliver high standards of excellence

Financial Services experience preferred

- Excellent knowledge of power point & excel data modelling, financial modelling

- Dynamic, mature-minded individual, who will take ownership of all responsibilities to anticipate all needs;

Comfortable handling confidential documents and information, including abiding by and executing confidentiality protocols;

Must be facile in all forms of written and spoken communications.

Candidate Profile: BE + MBA from premier B-Schools with 2-4 years of experience in strategy role
