Position Overview:

- The Strategy and Insights Manager will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and providing actionable insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

- This role involves working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies, analyze market trends, and understand consumer behaviour to ensure they remains competitive in the dynamic foodservice industry.

Reporting to: Marketing Director

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: 30%

- Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the company's vision and objectives.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify business opportunities and challenges.

- Provide strategic recommendations based on market analysis, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence.

- Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) phase planning process to ensure alignment with long-term strategic goals.

Marketing and consumer research (HOTs Track) and Analysis: 20%

- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.

- Analyze data from various sources to generate actionable insights and identify growth opportunities.

- Monitor and report on key market and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.

Consumer Insights: 20%

- Design and execute consumer research studies to gather insights on customer behaviour, preferences, and satisfaction.

- Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience improvements.

- Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for different departments.

- Conduct consumer immersion activities periodically to stay updated on evolving consumer trends and preferences.

Business Performance Analysis: 10%

- Analyze business performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies that enhance business performance.

- Define and manage turnaround time (TAT) for the HOT (Health of the Tracker) brand track reporting to ensure timely and accurate insights.

New Product Development (NPD) Assessments and Roadmap: 10%

- Lead assessments for new product development initiatives, including feasibility studies, market potential analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

- Develop and maintain a roadmap for NPD projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and market needs

- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.

Cross-functional Collaboration: 10%

- Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives.

- Provide insights and recommendations to support product launches, marketing campaigns, and operational improvements.

- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Masters (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field .

- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in strategy, market research or business analytics, preferably in the foodservice or retail industry.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to diverse audiences.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic initiatives.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
