Manager - Strategic Partnerships & Programs

Reporting officer : Cofounder, VIVA Development Strategies

- The Manager Strategic Partnerships & Programs will play a lead role in developing strategic partnerships for clients of VIVA Development Strategies. M-SPP will be involved in strategizing partnership opportunities mostly with corporate bodies, also with NGOs & the govt. sector and will develop effective partnerships through a customised approach.

- The role will involve developing and implementing programs in the area of health education livelihood water & sanitation in consultation with the reporting officer. The M-SPP will develop and implement programs that will include elements of research, capacity building / training, strategic planning, monitoring & evaluation, documentation.

- The M-SPP will play an integral role in development of VIVA Development Strategies through areas of brand building, online presence and other avenues.

Job Role :

Strategic partnerships

- Develop partnership strategy for clients in consultation with the reporting officer

- Partner / stakeholder landscaping - custom made to client need

- Develop & design proposals, documents, presentations, materials for partnerships

- Media & PR engagement as required

- Meetings with partnerships, negotiations, and development of partnership

- Partner / Stakeholder relationship management

Programs :

- Conduct desk and field research for projects

- Development of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms for projects

- Preparation of capacity building modules

- Training assistance in capacity building programs

- Documentation of a wide variety of project reports

- Involvement in strategic planning sessions

Organization building :

- Develop the online and social media strategy for VIVA Development Strategies

- Lead the implementation of the strategy in consultation with the reporting officer

- Design media / PR presence for VIVA Development strategies

- Explore avenues for organizational development

Skills & Expertise :

- Excellent written and spoken English

- Outgoing and strong skills to develop and maintain partner relations

- Background in basic research

- Effective planning and management

- Regular reporting of activities

- Experience in social / online media
