Responsibilities :
- Drive all marketing and strategic planning related activities for the India business
- Lead the STRAP process and support global strategy deployment based on need
- Partner with product and customer management teams to maintain a comprehensive needs-based segmentation for markets
- Ensure strategic marketing excellence for industry analysis and competition deep-dive
- Monitor trends in the India emissions and fuel economy solutions market, model the economic situation in the India Turbocharger industry, and critically assess competitors' offerings
- Develop and publish insightful analysis of historical economic and industrial activity and forecasted trends for passenger and commercial vehicle production and penetration of boosting, EV technology
- Collaborate with the communications function on marketing communication, interface with industry associations on promotional activities, co-ordinate tech days along with engineering, and voice customer feedback on new products and offerings
Requirements :
- Around 5 years of strong exposure to technology/B2B verticals
- Engineering degree + MBA from highly rated institutes, with ability to understand technology and strong micro-economics background
- Specific marketing experience valuable in segmentation, value pricing, new offering development
- Results-driven track record with proven ability to translate strategies into action and results
- Overall experience in strategic or product marketing in a technology-differentiated sector (preferably automotive)
- Top-down thinking, strategic marketing skills, communication and influencing skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals.
