Purpose:

To assist the Partner/ Superior in implementing and executing projects as per the professional and firms quality standards. Also, the role is responsible for monitoring of the assignments for improving the efficiency of the assignments.

Responsibilities:

- Managing and leading a team of executives and directly reporting to Partner/Director.

- Ensuring technical knowledge is updated and keeps abreast with latest updates/amendments.

- Planning and executing all the Audits,Resource scheduling,Staff training,Implementing firm's audit methodology,finalising the audits along with partners.

- Should be able to independently handle and execute large assignments under the guidance of the partner.

- Should be able to handle and execute multiple assignments under the guidance of a partner/s.

- Should have the ability to analyze, compare and interpret facts and figures quickly.

- Display an understanding of client's business, industry and issues; and be able to interact with clients effectively and address their issues tactfully.

- Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the clients and ensure client servicing as per expectations of the client.

- Responsible to guide team members on technical issues and guide them to write report sections.

- Monitor the progress of team members on key deliverables and provide appropriate guidance.

- Should have the technical ability to deliver client deliverables such as a report.

- Responsible for review of report sections prepared by the team members and finalize the report before sharing it with partner/director.

- Ensures that the senior and junior team members are well informed about the developments in the project.

- Ensures work plan for all assignments is made in advance with deliverables set for each team member on independent projects.

- Assist the Manager/Partner in planning and executing all audits, implementing firm's audit methodology, finalizing the audit alongwith manager/partner.

- Should be able to independently handle and execute small assignments under the guidance of manager/partner

- Should have the ability to analyze, compare and interpret the facts and figures quickly.

- Display the understanding of client's business, industry and issues; and be able to interact with clients effectively and address their issues tactfully.

- Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with the client and ensure client servicing as per the expectation of the client.

- Responsible to guide team members on technical issues.

- Monitor the progress of team members on key deliverables and provide appropriate guidance.

- Should have the technical ability to write core technical components of client deliverables such as report sections etc.

- Effectively execute against project timelines based on priorities, resource availability and other project requirements (i.e budget)

Skills:

- Chartered Accountant with around 8-10 years of experience in a mid-sized firm.

- Candidates current profile should be at least 80 % statutory audit.

- Strong business awareness and an ability to identify audit issues arising from commercial transactions.

- Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible and can work under pressure.

- Socially confident with good organization skills.

- Self-starter with good analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
