Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements for clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statutory audits, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting. This role requires expertise in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), the Companies Act, 2013, and related regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage statutory audit engagements, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Review financial statements, working papers, and audit deliverables, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Stay updated with regulatory developments, accounting standards, and tax laws affecting statutory audits.

- Identify audit risks and develop appropriate audit plans to mitigate them.

- Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities, addressing audit queries and ensuring smooth execution of engagements.

- Guide and mentor audit teams, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.

- Ensure timely completion of audits, meeting client deadlines and internal quality standards.

- Coordinate with internal teams for multi-disciplinary engagements, such as tax and advisory services.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance audit efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of experience in statutory audit.

- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IGAAP, and the Companies Act, 2013.

- Experience in handling audits of listed/unlisted companies, large corporates, and multinational clients.

- Understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and risk assessment.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Proficiency in audit tools and software (such as CaseWare, IDEA, or similar platforms) is preferred.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

- Prior experience in a Big 4 or leading audit firm is an advantage.

- Exposure to sectors such as BFSI, Manufacturing, IT/ITES, or FMCG is beneficial.

- Experience with IFRS and global reporting requirements is a plus.
