Manager / Sr. Manager - Procurement

- Manage overall DMS (Daily Management System) to the Purchase system in Projects.

- To be part of site Purchase team to deliver business needs utilizing best in class methodologies driving continuous improvement through loss elimination, root-cause problem solving.

- It provides the chance to demonstrate the ability to manage work processes and technical systems. Support daily Operations to insure that the CPS is accurate, on time, and at the lowest attainable cost utilizing TQ tools and standards to drive out the losses and meet CPS.

- Develop and deploy new capability to the site community and a central role in ensuring the solutions remain appropriate to deliver the business results as our strategies may change over time.

Sourcing and Procurement :

- Set proper strategy to handle and manage all issues related to procurement,

- Developing procurement processes with suppliers to enhance final negotiation and monitoring supplier performance.

- Manage and control the expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of the material as per purchase order conditions.

- Continuous follow up and monitoring till to receive the required material to the concern indenter.

Handle purchase request:

- Generate RFQ (Request for Quotation)

- Manage quotations from the vendors

- Generate Comparative Statement

- Negotiate commercial terms & agreements with vendors

- Handling and managing Vendors

- Follow up with vendors till delivery- timely delivery

- Arranging logistics for the delivery of material to the respective clients

- Documentation / Filing.

- B.E (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical), MBA preferred

- Experience: 10-12 years in procurement, purchasing and negotiation

- Experience with MNCs and in construction is required

- Experience in Green field project will be added advantage.

- Experience in vendor management, delivery follow-up and project/construction sourcing.

- Having worked in previous purchasing roles which had tools like ERP/SAP interface is added advantage.
