Manager/Sr Manager - Indirect Taxation - CA - Mfg

Managing Indirect Tax challenges including Audits, departmental queries, Show Cause Notices, appearances, appeals and litigations.

- Ensure Compliance and meets the requirements under Central Excise Laws

- Handle Service Tax, Entry Tax, Works Contract Tax and Custom Law Procedure related matters

- Ensuring proper and timely filling of Tax returns and payments.

- Optimize Cenvat/VAT Credit availment of Excise, Service tax and VAT.

- Support Business to take decision in tax efficient manner.

- Providing Supports and guide to subordinate in the field of indirect tax.

- Partnering with other functions to ensure tax compliance in their routine transaction.

- Keep abreast of statutory amendments and circulate latest amendments to all concerns.

- Explore various taxes saving opportunity through restructuring of contracts and tax

- To keep updated with new amendments, identify implication thereof and to prepare draft note for advising unit.

- Preparing and filing of replies to Show cause Notices, Appeals.

- Preparing replies to queries raised by Excise and Service Tax department.

- Handling Unit's personnel queries relating to indirect taxation.

- Studying, analysis and categorization of various litigation of indirect tax case in terms of AS 29

- Candidate Should have Experience in Cement Manufacturing Industry
