Manager - Special Projects - Founder's Office

Our client is a seed funded Tech start-up into the domain of Astrology. They are building a platform to consult with - Astro Guides- and engage in wellness-focused activity- like meditation, yoga, chants, affirmations, gratitude journaling, and other astrology related remedies. Astrology is $10B market with a target audience of 200M with 2M astrologers. Astrology is a 4,000-year-old trusted belief system which gives probabilistic insights into the future

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Candidate would be responsible for Handling the special projects and assignment of the company.

- Would be responsible for devising strategy for the growth of the company.

- Handling of data and using it wisely for further growth of the company.

- Understand the key technology trends in the industry, their impact and implications for the business

- Develop deep understanding of consumer Internet in India

- Help develop long-term product strategy with a strong customer- and market-backed perspective

- Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional OneTech leadership and drive the changes required

- Evaluate new business/projects initiatives and opportunities by bringing together outside-in customer and market view with inside-out understanding of capabilities and what it takes to win

- Drive specific Technical and Business programs

Skills Required:

- Know the market: Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, etc.

- Know the customer: Understand connected customer behavior, develop new customer insights

- Know the competition: Understand on-line and off-line players. React as and when necessary in an appropriate manner

- Product & Programs Understanding: Understanding the end to end product lifecycle, some experience as a product or program manager in other top technology companies

- Influence the leadership: Convert strategies into action by liaising with cross-functional leadership and drive the changes required

- End to End Ownership: Strong Project management skills to own initiatives end to end

Candidate Profile:

- 2+ yrs of consulting/startup experience

- Ability to connect with people across teams and levels

- Engineering Degree and MBA from top schools would be preferred.
