Manager - Solution Design Years of Experience: 3 - 8 Years. Minimum Qualification : Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering. Role: The incumbent will be responsible for designing and preparing a techno-commercial proposal for intra-logistics and robotic solutions. The person will be responsible for reviewing the designs of various projects; and providing world-class automation solutions to different industry verticals such as apparel, grocery, food & beverage, e-commerce etc. Responsibilities: 1. Allocation of the resources for the inquiries received from the internal customers. Understand the customers' requirements from the RFP documents and the resource. 2. Ideate, guide, supervise and review the solutions made by the resources. Track and update the status of the tasks done by the team, set goals for the team and help them to achieve the same. 3. Prepare the 2D layout of the system to make the customer understand the solution. Produces a material list of equipment, design of all special devices and Mechanical Engineering pricing. 4. Solicits, quotes, and reviews costs of equipment and services. - Works with Purchasing to manage the interface relationships with vendors and evaluate the performance of vendors and subcontractors. 5.Keep on updating the knowledge related to the specifications of solutions and products of the company as well as the industry. 6. Consults with cross-functional teams in improving procedures, quality, designs, applications, and equipment. 7. Occasional travel is required in this position. Usually, trips are planned and are of short duration. However, requests for travel on short notice may be made, and extended travel is sometimes required to support systems commissioning and acceptance. 8. May be exposed to next level or cross-functional duties and responsibilities.
