Manager - Solution Design

Reporting to: Head of Strategy

Preferred Qualifications and Skill Sets

Mandatory

- Minimum 5 years work experience in an operations analyst/solution design engineer role within the logistics/SCM function of end user company or service provider side

- Bachelor degree(BE/ BSc) in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science and full time/ part-time post graduate degree/diploma in logistics/operations from a reputable institute

- Excel VBA/ Power BI/ Tableau certification

- Good written communication skills with focus on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Preferred

- Experience of having operating WMS/TMS and ePROC software tools

- Worked on operations quality/improvement tasks/projects

- Operating Knowledge of CAD

- Good grasp of digital technologies and trends related to logistics and supply chain management

Key Responsibility Areas

- Responsible for Preparation of data collection templates relevant to the client's logistics operations

- Visit the client site for process mapping and FGDs

- Prepare Site Visit Reports and highlight findings with respect to the project at hand

- Drive the data souring process from own/ client servers within stipulated timelines

- Post sign-up, undertake the data and operations analytics for the project

- Apply relevant concepts and best practices for Solution Design and addressing projects such as Warehouse Design and Layout, Network Design, Inventory Analysis

- Apply IT tools for problem solving using analytical and statistical models

- Compilation of data and use of analytical skills to generate comprehensive reports

- Prepare Dashboards for each client and maintain periodic delivery

- Conduct industry best practice research, especially effective secondary research
