Software QA Manager

Roles and responsibilities:

Your Role:

We're looking for enthusiastic Senior Engineering Leaders who have fresh ideas and strong skills in driving end to end products in high-end technology areas, such as real-time, large-scale distributed systems, security, machine learning and data stream processing. With your management and technical expertise you will be performing the following.

Key Responsibilities :

1) Participate in the full software development life cycle

2) Own the Quality Assurance of an entire system or application, and lead complex products

3) Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments

4) Work closely with first line managers and QA engineers to develop the best technical

5) Design and approach for products quality assurance

6) Builds QA solutions and process, where the change is rapid.

7) Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts

8) Candidates must be innovative, creative, flexible and self-motivated

9) Experience with Scrum or Agile development

10) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

11) Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including QA standards, Test Case reviews, build processes, testing, and operations

12) Handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

13) Great understanding of software quality assurance in a product, and a track record of shipping software on time

14) Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead QA engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.

15) Experience in working with teams in multiple locations.

Profile/Competence :

- Should be B.E and having 11 - 20 years with 6+ years of managing QA teams in product development

- Experience in automation frameworks with excellent data structures & algorithms skills.

- Experience and knowledge of automation frameworks, open source software, frameworks and broader cutting edge technologies

- Demonstrated experience delivering highly quality scalable products

- Deeply technical with a track record of successful delivery

- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills.

- Proven success in building, motivating and retaining teams

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex plans and designs

- Excellent judgment, organizational, and problem solving skills

- Excellent design and architecture knowledge

- Data driven decision making

Value Adds :

- Knowledge on SaaS based product testing Experience with client/server, multi-threaded / multi-processor and distributed software and/or cross platform development.

Skills :
