Social Performance and Capacity Building Manager

Reports to : Managing Director,Maanaveeya
- The organization is registered as an NBFC in the country and operates throughout India. Maanaveeya provides loans that stimulate sustainable development. The project should benefit the poor and disadvantaged people by creation of employment.
- Maanaveeya lending Model encompasses of Bulk Lending to MFIs, FI-SME and loans to Renewable Energy and other development projects. They have set up a strong compliance culture, compliant as per Reserve Bank of India Prudential norms, Company Law 2013 and Tax regulations of the country.
Reason for the hire :
- Maanaveeya is looking for their Social Performance and Capacity Building Manager, who would be a part of the leadership team at the organization.
- Maanaveeya measures the risk factor for each of their portfolio companies and ensures a good ESG score for the companies.
- The process is internally crafted and takes an integrated approach.
- The Social Performance and Capacity Building Manager identifies and develops proposals for potential interventions which strengthens social and financial performance.
- The SPCB officer acts as the link between region and the SPI unit managing the implementation of capacity building programs.
- Maanaveeya is looking for a dynamic leader to join their team, who would organically own the position and help Maanaveeya showcase the diversity and depth of their initiatives in the space.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Strategic planning, development and execution
- Overall organizational social impact strategy
- Capability Building programs and fundraising
- CSR strategy and regional communications

Must Haves :
- The incumbent must have an advanced academic degree, preferably in the field of economics, organizational development, rural management, microfinance or business administration, with a specialization in development finance, social performance management and monitoring etc.
- The incumbent must have a minimum 5 years of relevant work experience and knowledge of development projects, especially in the inclusive finance sector or agriculture.
- They must have a strong knowledge and experience of project management.
- They must possess database management skills and strong knowledge of Excel and Word.
- The must possess facilitation skills and be proficient in both verbal and written English.
