Social Media Manager
Position Overview:
Our B2B advertising technology client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Social Media Manager/ Sr manager to lead the social media marketing initiatives. As the Social Media Manager, he/she will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the company's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing goals and objectives.
- Create and manage engaging social media content (text, images, videos) that resonates with our target audience and generates leads.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other relevant platforms to identify areas for improvement.
- Use a number-driven approach to drive growth on social media
- Drive engagement in our markets of focus with objectives of increasing awareness and engagement
- Manage all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including content creators, designers, and marketing managers, to ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust the social media strategy accordingly.
- Manage and oversee social media advertising campaigns on various platforms.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/PG degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in a B2B or advertising technology company.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful social media strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or other relevant platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging social media content.
- Experience with social media advertising campaigns.
