Manager - Shared Service/Outsourcing Advisory Services - IIM/ISB (2-8 yrs)

Looking for candidates with strong in terms of industry exp and education credentials (only Tier 1 MBA institutes - IIM's and ISB only) with main exp in strategy implementation and design for a shared service setup/center while managing/ representing their advisory (consulting) business.

He / She can be from any industry either in HR shared services or NON IT shared services.

He / She must have exp in advising global sourcing strategies, operational transformation.

Also, only relevant consulting exp and post MBA exp shall be counted as the relevant years of exp in the domain(for the role). We are also fine to look at candidates with educational combination of either CA+MBA (tier 1 college) OR Engg+ MBA (Tier 1 college).

Required skills :

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Ability to build complex financial models and business cases

- Experience of executing projects in the area of shared services and outsourcing, from strategy / feasibility phase to design and implementation

- Excellent knowledge of any one of the processes- finance, procurement, HR, IT operations

- Relevant knowledge of various sourcing models and related leading practices

- Strong presentation skills, both oral and written, to clearly communicate solutions and recommendations to the client

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with senior clients (CXO level)

- Collaborative work-style and ability to work in a team

- Strong leadership qualities and ability to handle 2-5 members team

- Ability to multi-task and work within demanding timelines

- Engineering and / or MBA from Tier 1 institutes or CAs

Responsibilities :

- Assist clients in designing and implementing the right sourcing model, including but not limited to shared services, outsourcing and global business services models

- Assist clients throughout the entire spectrum of Shared Services transformation journey including feasibility study, business case analysis, target operating model design, FTE sizing, location selection, SSC design and build out support, service management support, transition management, process review and continuous improvement

- Assist clients in taking the most effective outsourcing decision through RFP development, vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, portfolio rationalization, benchmarking and end-of-term support

- Act as a team leader on client-facing projects and take full responsibility of planning, resourcing and delivery; guide the team in every phase of the project and ensure the delivery meets client expectation

- Effectively engage with client counterpart in discussions related to the project delivery and provide new perspectives / insights

- Assisting and contribute to various firm level initiatives, including business development, development of tools and methodologies, thought leadership materials and points of view

- Monitor performance of team members and provide constant guidance, constructive feedback and opportunities to explore new areas

- Network to build professional relationships within and outside the Firm
