Manager/Senior Manager - Vigilance - Bank

Reporting: Chief Vigilance Officer

Job responsibilities :

1. To comply with the rules and regulations of Bank.

2. To comply with circulars/orders of the regulatory authorities; particularly the RBI & CVC.

3. To collect intelligence from the field about the corruptions and malpractices of the employees, if any, which may cause monetary loss and damage reputation of the Bank.

4. To adopt the preventive measures against corruption and malpractices adopted by the staff or outsiders.

5. To make liaison with the local police and other investigating authorities for registering the criminal cases against the staff or outsiders and to pursue investigation and disposal of the cases.

6. To alert the staff against movement of huge cash in crime-prone areas and to advise the precautionary measures to be taken for carrying huge cash from field to DSC and DSC to Bank branch.

7. To supervise all the incidents of the fraud, theft, burglary, robbery/dacoity in their jurisdiction and ascertain the lapses, if any, on the part of the staff and to report to the competent authorities.

8. To attend the meeting of the Zonal Heads and Cluster Heads of the Micro Banking and General Banking and give inputs from a crime point of view.

9. To go through the circulars/orders of the Bank and the regulatory authorities available at the branch level and ensure that these are complied with.

10. To report any incident of misconduct on the part of the staff and misbehavior with the customers to the CIVO for further action in the matter.

11. To oversee the indiscipline conduct of any staff in his working place and in the event of detection of any such incident, the same should be reported to the CIVO for further action.

12. To attend the training relating to the investigation of the vigilance cases, to be acquainted with the latest circulars/orders of the Bank and the regulatory authorities.
