JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION / DESIGNATION Manager/Senior Manager - Finance Control

BAND / GRADE Manager/Senior Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage all direct tax/indirect tax compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.

- Build relationships and liaise with various tax authorities for refunds, notices, department audits etc.

- Responsible for implementation tax changes in various systems of to ensure accurate compliance.

- Identify and mitigate tax risks.

- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns.

- Conduct process checks and review to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the established internal controls and procedures and implementing best practices.

- Identify key areas of tax risk within the organisation and propose appropriate controls to mitigate the risks.

- Assist the development of an internal control culture, including training to staff.

- Ability to organize and prioritize

- Ability to place details in a wider context

- Ability to explain findings and to convince the organisation to implement recommendations.

- Capable of a rigorous analytical approach and result oriented

PREFERRED CREDENTIALS

WORK EXPERIENCE 7 to 9 years' experience in direct and indirect taxation.

QUALIFICATIONS- CA

COMPETENCIES


- Expertise knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns

- Excellent communications and presentation skills
