Manager/Sr. Manager - Talent Acquisition & Talent Management


Purpose

- The talent acquisition and management specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening and recommending candidates as well as onboarding new hires.

- He/ she must understand, model and represent the NIA employment value proposition.

- He/she will identify opportunities to build applicant pool, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential "fit" through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience.

- He/ she should be able to handle end to end employee life cycle of hiring, developing, retaining and upskilling the teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Skills:

- Creating and implementing talent acquisition plans (external and internal mobility) to build strong pipeline of internal and external candidates across all levels.

- Responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of candidates including sourcing, pre-screening, behavioral interviewing, selection, negotiation & extension of offers.

- Activate all sourcing channels including employee referral program, campus connects and external market awareness to build and maintain NIA as the employer of choice.

- Custodian of Manpower plans & budgets

- Preparation of competency levels and dictionary for hiring at various levels

- Partnering with senior management to develop and implement an organizational development strategy and structure.

- Engaging talent in their career and developmental needs

- Conduct regular talent reviews to ensure succession planning for key positions.

- Analyzing and translating workforce data into talent insights to aid in data-driven decision making on talent.

Requirements and skills:

- Proven experience as talent acquisition executive / senior executive

- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding

- Understanding of all selection methods and techniques including BEI, competency based interviews.

- Proficient in the use of social media and job boards

- Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.

- Working knowledge of ERP/Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)/ HRIS and databases

Job Specification:

Educational Qualification:

- Candidate should possess a full time MBA from reputed institute.

- Experience from a related industry will be preferred.

- Knowledge of employment law & compensation benefits, application from TA context

- High on energy, proactive, with service orientation

- Proficient in MS office suite specifically with excel & power point.

- Proficient on job analysis and specifications articulation

Relevant Experience:

- Minimum 7-12 years working experience in similar capacity.

Behavioural skills:

- High business acumen and ability to understand changing business trends.

- Clear and concise communication style with ability to convince, both in presentation skills and written English.

- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

- Exposure to digital systems

- Excellent analytical , result oriented skills and logical abilities

- Ethical, enabler and people centricity
