Manager/Senior Manager - Supply Chain Management - Manufacturing

We have an opportunity for Manager/Sr. Manager SCM for one of the manufacturing client in Mumbai.

Position Title: Manager / Sr .Manager - SCM

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement an organization-wide integrated supply chain strategy to facilitate the cost-effective flow of materials.

- Global Sourcing & Purchasing from, China, Japan, Germany, USA.

- Formulating and implementing annual procurement cost improvement program through supplier strategies, negotiation and best cost suppliers

- Establish targets in areas such as transit and delivery times; inventory levels; purchasing, warehousing, and storage costs; service standards and monitor the performance of all supply and logistics activities against these goals

- Negotiate, maintain, monitor, and regularly evaluate relationships and contracts with suppliers

- Proactively work with production, scheduling and production planning functions to ensure supply and logistics strategies are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall business objectives.

- Develop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance

- Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop team to ensure that the organization's supply chain strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets.

- Transport Logistics - inward and outward dispatches

Qualification and Experience:

- B.E./B.Tech and MBA with 10-15 years of experience in Global Sourcing.

- Experience of managing sourcing of Plastic Films, Inks, Coating, Adhesives are must for this position.

- Looking for the candidate from Manufacturing / Engineering industry.
