Manager/Senior Manager - Supply Chain/Demand Planner - Auto/FMCG (4-8 yrs)

Purpose of the Job:

- The purpose of this position is to maintain high customer service levels across the business.

- This position will drive S&OP process for service vertical. This would include the Demand and Supply Planning Processes.

- This position will manage the Inventory in the Supply Chain Service vertical and will ensure that costs are optimized across Supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

- Reduction of customer complaints by better availability of spares.

- Demand planning of service spares - about 4000 SKUs.

- Ensuring that the ordered spares are received from a factory within defined timelines.

- Supply planning - Ensuring the required spares are available with the Business Partners as per the supply plans.

- Managing inventory for service spares. Ensuring that the non-moving inventory is not generated through improved demand planning process.

- Improve the maturity level of the S&OP process to ensure smooth integration across the business.

- Develop and implement IT solutions to enable Supply chain to increase flexibility and reduce cost.

- Success in this role will be measured through the delivery of objectives which are aligned to key business priorities

Span of Control

- Factory Supply Chain Managers, Regional Logistics Managers, Warehouse managers, Regional Service managers

Competencies

- Good analytical ability

- Knowledge of SAP is preferred

- Good Planning and Organizing Skill with attention to detail

- Ability to Influence Peers/Seniors

- Good Interpersonal Skills

- Able negotiator

- Awareness and working knowledge of Theory of Constraints (TOC) is preferred.
