Manager/Senior Manager - Strategy - Automotive (5-10 yrs)

To carryout Market Intelligence, business/financial case analyses. Help in identifying new business opportunities in related and unrelated business areas through secondary research. Design business plan road map for the company and collaborate with internal departments to regularly calibrate the same.

Primary Responsibilities :

- Financial /Strategic : Support business growth through analysis and evaluation of possible business initiatives/ mergers/ acquisitions/ joint ventures opportunities identified by management both locally and globally

- Ensure adherence to the Department budget

- Customer : If required, interface with external consultants, research companies etc to close market studies, due diligences, analyses and to understand new developments and best practices

- Coordinate with internal departments to conduct knowledge sharing of new technologies/ products/ processes etc. identified

- Process : Maintain updates on new products, technologies, capabilities etc. in the Auto and related Industry

- Regular mapping and analyses of Auto/other Industries of interest, Competition, Economy etc to give inputs to management

- Prepare and submit reports on market studies, business case analyses for prospective new alliances, joint ventures, acquisitions, partnerships etc as desired by the management

- Support in commercial and financial due diligence, valuation etc of identified business opportunities to assess market and financial feasibility of the project for the company

- Support in development of long term strategic business plan and work closely with internal departments in the organization's performance management system adding value in monthly/quarterly strategic reviews

- Support in strategic marketing/ branding, corporate initiatives, website maintenance, advertisements, social media presence etc

- Learning & Growth : Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process

Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Financial Growth from New Business % share of Revenues from new ventures

- Cost Optimization % adherence to department budget

- Process Operational Efficiency % adherence to timelines for conducting market studies, feasibility analysis etc

- Risk and Compliance No. of Industry reports, market research etc carried out

- MIS & Documentation % adherence to timelines for submitting business proposals/ evaluations etc. to HOD and top management

- Customer Customer Satisfaction Planned Vs. Actual no. of knowledge sharing reports/ sessions

- Learning & Development Performance Management Adherence to timelines of PMS process

- Training & Development % adherence to training manhours

Qualifications :

- Desired Qualifications BE/BTech & MBA Finance with 5 - 10 years of experience in related field.
