MBA/M.sc in Agriculture or Supply chain

The Senior/ Manager Sourcing will be responsible to develop company sourcing strategy for the Punjab and
Haryana. This position will analyze market data of various Agri-inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, seeds to understand industry competition in multiple source origins of Agri-inputs at any given time. Analyses spend data, supplier/buyer's information, and diseases information for various crop/commodities. Contribute to the develop grower / supplier's / dealers' relationship management activities. This position will primarily focus on sourcing activities by empaneling grower /supplier / services providers on app-based platform using various ecommerce module for all types of crops including fruits & vegetables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify & empanel growers who will use various Agri-inputs during cultivation.

- Evaluate partnerships and establish local or regional Suppliers & Service Providers including rental and purchase of farm equipment's and machineries. Empanel in Ecommerce Module.

- Negotiate and enforce agreements with suppliers and service providers.

- Support appropriate relationships with buyers/suppliers to maximize value.

- Ability to deal with changing objectives, deadlines, and priorities

- Excellent negotiation skills

- Strong and detail oriented analytical skills.

- Advanced ability to use and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications to analyze and troubleshoot sourcing/inventory discrepancies, develop and use spreadsheets, statistical analysis and trends (Microsoft Excel etc.)

- Proven leadership to be able to identify areas and make recommendations for improvements on various processes and strategies

- Minimum of 5 + years of prior work experience in Sourcing, and/or Supply Chain Management focused around harvest or procurement, including in a perishable industry and a minimum of 3 years' supervisory background
