Purpose :
- Supports the Product Planning function for specific model lines by gathering information, developing analyses and recommendations, regularly acting in place of the Product Manager and performing a wide range of other functions.
- Maintains vehicle Product Guides.
- Performs customer-needs and competitive research, analyzes Hyundai sales and production data as well as competitive sales and sales forecast data, and tracks trends within and outside the automotive industry.
- Prepares product recommendations suitable for presentation to senior management.
- Analyze vehicle features and determines which features should be equipped on a vehicle and how they should be combined into specific models and packages.
- Performs post-launch analysis of new models and recommend enhancements.
- Present new model information to related departments when needed
- Prepares detailed analysis of competitive new model launches as they relate to model lines managed
- Reviews marketing materials for accuracy and consistency with product positioning.
- Opportunity to provide feedback on product development direction with related departments
- Administers vehicle launch schedules.
- Manages department pilot vehicles for model lines managed.
