Manager/Senior Manager - Human Resources/Admin - @ New Jersey - USA Location


Position: Manager / Sr. Manager - HR & Admin

Qualification: Post Graduation in HR (Preferably MS or MBA in HR)

Experience: 5 to 10 years of HR experience, should have worked in the Plants

Role requirements:

- In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing HR systems, handling employee relations, workforce planning, ensuring compliance with state and federal agency and training support. The Role and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to performance management, compensation and benefits, occupational health and safety.

- Writes directives advising department manager of Company policy regarding equal opportunities, compensation and employee benefits.

- Performs compensation analysis, give recommendations as necessary for offers, promotions, adjustments and articulates need for potential levelling.

- Implement effective talent management process, assists managers in identifying key employees, assess employee/departmental training needs, Organize training activities. Manage employee motivation activities and encourage them to continuously develop their skills.

- Maintain knowledge, Monitor and ensures the company's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommend best practices; reviews and modify policies and practices to maintain 100% compliance

- Maintains knowledge of new HR trends, best practices and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law and applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.

- Act as a general counsel, Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.

- Monitor the implementation of a performance improvement process with non-performing employees.

- Conduct Annual HR Audit.

- Performing other job-related functions, as requested

Requirements and skills:

- Excellent problem solving and time management skills

- Great interpersonal skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and highly organized.

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. Must be a good negotiator and Influencer.
