Accountable for institutionalizing the HR processes and systems at the unit level. Major tasks include supporting the Unit and functional leaders in identifying suitable talent, creating platform for their grooming and performing, defining proper performance metrics to recognize & reward them for their performance, institutionalizing employee-engagement programs, retaining the best talent by providing them the growth opportunities in line with organization growth plans, anchoring of all welfare activities, overseeing all administrative activities (incl. security, safety, housekeeping, gardening etc).

Key Deliverables:

- Own and develop the relationships with senior officials in recognized Trade Unions

- Support Plant Head, People Business Partners and line managers in negotiations with Trade Unions on a wide range of company issues

- Monitoring and review standing orders compliance

- Liaison with Government Labour officer, Police, MIDC, TMC and neighboring industries

- Handling of employee grievances, addressing issues of discipline and misconduct, if any, taking care of statutory compliance

- Recruitment of competent employees in-line with the approved manpower plan

- Anchoring joining formalities, providing the comprehensive induction for every new joinee, providing clarity on the HR policies etc

- Ensuing all process related to employees lifecycle is done as per time line.

- Compiling the performance data in the required format and submitting it to Corporate HR for decisions on increment / bonus / promotions etc on annual basis, and supporting in issuing the increments to employees with feedback and suggestions for future performance

- Preparing a comprehensive training & development plan (using 70:20:10 learning model) in consultation with capability champion at HO and the Line Managers for time and effective implementation

- Creating awareness among the Unit level HODs on the Employee Engagement framework .

- Anchoring Employee Engagement (EE) survey on annual basis, working with the Capability building champion at Corporate and the Leaders at unit level to evolve plans to improve EE scores

- Designing and anchoring programs/interventions (around the EE framework) in line with the priorities identified for the unit.

- Taking care of employee attendance (incl. leaves) and providing necessary inputs / date for preparation of monthly payroll sheet, taking care of office infrastructure and hygiene and welfare facilities (furniture, fitting, housekeeping, uniform, canteen, overall atmosphere),

- Taking care of employees and guest travel / accommodation and other hospitality requests, taking care of the arrangements for special meetings/ discussions/training/employee outings/celebrations etc., appointment of vendors and handling of total vendor management process

- Overseeing the functioning of security and housekeeping team, working with HSE team in maintaining safety in workplace

- Maintaining employee files and taking care of employee full & final settlement as per HR policy.
