Role and Responsibilities :
Manpower Planning
- Carry out Manpower planning by consolidating manpower requirements of all the plants in the business Vertical
- Periodically monitor HR budget, manpower plan and ensure adherence of the same
Recruitment & Selection
- Ensure implementation of group recruitment policy and carry out recruitment of employees as per manpower plan for business vertical
- Lead critical recruitment of the business vertical and identify improvement opportunities in the process
Training & Development
- Carry out Training need analysis for all plants, business corporate and prepare training schedule and curriculum
- Oversee training design, delivery, carrying out training effectiveness evaluation and reporting of training effectiveness to Group HR head
- Ensure adherence to training man-days as per group guidelines
Performance Management System
- Ensure adherence to PMS timelines and timely closing of the same
- Coordinate with Group HR to identify hi-potential employees and coordinate in succession planning
- Coordinate with Group HR to prepare individual action plan for employees and ensure adherence
Compliance
- Ensure compliances under the various labour law statutes (Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Gratuity Act, Contract Labour Act, ESI Act etc) are adhered to
- Ensure filing of necessary documents to ensure adherence to certain statutory norms. E.g. PF, Gratuity
Grievance Resolution
- Attend and resolve all grievances from employees and track major grievance points of all plants in the business vertical
