Manager/Senior Manager - Gear Manufacturing

1. Process development of transmission gears & shafts, finalization of cutting parameters, Cycle time optimization and handover to operations.

2. Documentation - PFC, PFMEA, Control Plan, Operation Standards (Work Instructions)

3. Concept, design & drafting (AutoCAD 2017 or above) of fixture & cutting tool drawing (Broaching, hobbing, shaping, shaving, grinding fixtures)

4. Designing of tools & process sheets in AutoCAD / excel.

5. Maintaining record of master list of documents & issue.

6. Interaction with equipment suppliers to guide them for correct process inputs & to do regular follow-up

7. Custodian for installation & commissioning of the machines independently (Broaching, hobbing, shaping, shaving, grinding etc)

8. Establish effective poka yoke in machining to avoid rejections.

10. Preparation of PPAP documentation & maintaining them

11. Finalization of Gear Micro geometry parameters based on NVH feedback (Lead & Profile parameters)
