We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager - Fund Administration/Investment Operations for a well-established Consulting firm. The position will be based out of UAE

JOB Profile :

- Person should be responsible for managing the day-to-day business operations for fund administration and share Registry service line and reports to the Head of Function.

The role is mainly responsible for :

Fund Administration :

- Carry out/Review net asset value calculations.

- Prepare/ Review of monthly or quarterly expenses sent to the fund manager for settlement.

- Assist with pricing queries of the team in relation to pricing of securities from sources like Reuters, Bloomberg or stock exchange.

- Assist in the preparation and booking of accounting entries and preparation of financial statements for Special Purpose Vehicles.

- Reviewing compliance of the fund with the prospectus and the Collective Investment Undertaking regulation

- Assist in the preparation of annual and half yearly financial statements in accordance with IFRS/ Islamic Accounting Standards.

- Liaising with the auditors for completion of audit.

- Attending AGM/EGM's, collection of proxies and preparation of attendance sheets for the AGM/EGM.

- Review of the work done by the team members.

- Follow up with client for collection of data and any other queries.

- Assisting with resolution of any escalations made by the client.

- Providing sign-off on Net asset value calculations to be reported to the client.

- Providing sign-off on distribution calculations to be reported to the client.

- Providing sign-off on Quarterly Statistical Returns and other regulatory reports.

Other Advisory Services :

- Assisting in preparation of prospectus for funds.

- Preparation of other fund related documents.

- Assisting in preparation of business plans financial models etc.

- Carrying out financial due diligence and business Impact assessment study.

Client Services :

- Follow up on billing.

- Preparation of letter of engagement and service provider agreements.

Qualification & Experience Required :

- Experience in the mutual fund industry working on all types of funds, i.e. listed equity, private equity, bond funds & real estate funds.

- Experience in handling futures, options and other exotic products for HNI investors.
