FP&A Functions: - Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions as a business partner, working directly with business unit leaders to manage, shape and grow the business. - FP&A personnel play a very important role in supporting the business for pricing and commercials. They are responsible for leading and executing the pricing and commercial stream for new bids and renegotiation of existing contracts. - FP&A personnel are expected to identify critical issues, identify trends, make recommendations and provide guidance and counsel. - FP&A personnel play a significant role in leading the development of business case for acquisitions. They are relied to evaluate strategic options, have an understanding of the IT industry, understand the competitive landscape, develop and implement meaningful methods of financial analysis. - FP&A coordinates with other finance and accounting resources to provide fact-based analytics and reports which help drive efficient and effective decision-making. - The role provides significant growth opportunities in a multi-national work environment. Job Responsibilities: Pricing Responsibilities: - Work with the Pricing and Commercial FP&A Lead to develop the pricing model that takes into account deal dynamics, cost structure and US GAAP - Assist the Pricing Commercial FP&A Lead to project by managing the Pricing and Commercial stream on new bids or contract negotiations - Take responsibility and ensure that Client Pricing Template reconciles to internal co. P&L - Under the guidance of the Pricing Commercial, FP&A Lead should work with the business to develop a reasonable business case clearly stating the key assumptions - Ensure that the pricing model is fully SOX compliant with all changes and assumptions clearly documented - Ensure pricing models are not overly complicated and bring in creativity to ensure simplicity, taking into account what really matters to the deal and business requirements - Ensure pricing model has the relevant information readily available to support solution related discussions Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting Responsibilities: - Work with Business Unit Leads and Operations Leads to develop the strawman for the next year's budget taking into account headwinds, tailwinds and strategic bids - Provide accurate and timely periodic customized financial reports, including issue identification, to business unit and finance management - Analyse and proactively make fact-based recommendations to improve profitability, operating efficiency and effectiveness - Work with the Business and Core Finance Teams to support the business to resolve financial, accounting and commercial issues - Participate in task forces/ special projects including but not limited to; M&A, alliances, corporate, divisional or functional initiatives. Requirements: - Qualification: MBA and or Fully Qualified Accountant - Experience: Manager: 8+ years of relevant experience Senior Manager: 10+ years of relevant experience - Skills & Competencies: 1. A passion for corporate finance and analytics 2. Basic project management skills to support the FP&A Lead to execute the work stream 3. Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills 4. Understanding of the basics of IT contracts and key commercial pricing clauses 5. Interested in working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial and high-performance culture 6. Ability to work successfully in, and positively influence cross functional teams 7. Ability to self-organize and independently develop and implement improvement ideas 8. Proficient with standard analytic tools (e.g. MS Excel, Access, databases) 9. Ability to build proficiency in relevant information systems
