Manager/Senior Manager

Urgent opening with a large MNC broadcasting Company for the role of Manager/ Senior Manager Finance/Accounts/ Auditing.

Experience : 6 - 12 yrs

Location : Mumbai

Key Responsibilities :

- Planning and implementation of the internal, SOX and operational audits for our client and its subsidiaries

- Reviews, coordinates and evaluates the work done on the internal and operational audits

- Liaise with business functions to ensure audit observations are closed within agreed timelines

- Coordinates with the statutory and management auditors on IFC, SOX and Corporate audits

- Provides insights on proposed changes to any processes and controls and periodically reviews existing internal processes and controls

- Explores opportunities to strengthen the internal control framework through automation

- Prepares quarterly audit reports for executive management and audit committee

- Researches new or technical subjects when required to support financial accounting and auditing, due to changes in the regulatory / compliance environment

- Have a business support orientation: analyse and simplify processes (faster, more efficient without compromising controls)

- Drive, review and report on finance related automation projects

- Work on periodic accounts finalisation and schedules thereto

- Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews

Qualifications :

- Should have 5+ Experience in Finance & Accounts and Auditing

- Should be a Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance; added qualifications like CIA / CISA would be preferred

- Strong understanding of the auditing standards, methodologies & processes

- Knowledge of IFC and SOX framework and controls

- Strong fundamentals in accounting standards (Ind AS) preferred

- Strong IT orientation and good SAP / MS Office skills is a must

- Good communication skills - both written and verbal English.

- Knowledge of auditing SAP controls (specifically FICO, MM and SD), GRC and good knowledge of SAP accounting operations

- Go getter yet persuasive; self-driven - ability to plan and execute with minimal supervision

- Should have experience in managing audits in an outsourced environment

- Preferable to have media background / work experience in a MNC / big 4 firm

- Should have worked in process oriented organisation
