Position: Manager/Sr. Manager - Engineering &amp; Projects Location: Aundh, Pune MANDATORY ASK: 15+ YEARS- WORK EXPERIENCE / 5+ YEARS OF HANDS-EXPERIENCE IN DESIGN &amp; DEVELOPMENT / STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF MULTIMEDIA (AV SOLUTIONS) OR EMBEDDED SYSTEMS - PREFERABLE. IF NOT, MIDDLEWARE, PUBLISH-SUBSCRIBE, MULTITHREADING, DISTRIBUTED, SYNCHRONOUS-ASYNCHRONOUS, ETC. / ARCHITECTURE WITH EMBEDDED C, C++ OR JAVA / PROJECT MANAGEMENT &amp; CLIENT ENGAGEMENT EXPERIENCE 4+ YEARS ABOUT THE ROLE: As an Manager/Sr. Manager - Engineering &amp; Projects, you will be accountable to lead end to end technical delivery, project management &amp; client engagement. You are also expected to lead, coach &amp; nurture a team of 20+ engineers. You must have an entrepreneurial bent of mind - high on innovative, does what it takes to get the job done, and enjoys taking responsibility. ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES: This role will have techno-managerial responsibilities and will be responsible for: - Leading end to end Requirements, Design, Development and Maintenance. - Manage Product roadmaps and work with teams to deliver features and manage releases and enhancement. - Provide high-level architecture guidance and create strategic technical designs for projects of scope within. - As a Project Manager, will be responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, allocating tasks and overall project governance. - Responsible for Risk identification, risk mitigation and change management. - Engage and interact with clients and ensure the highest level of customer service and quality of delivery. Drive governance calls and also manage escalations. - Managing the team's delivery, ensuring milestones are achievable and clearly communicating progress and issues. - Be responsible for instilling and promoting a Product Engineering culture within the team. - Lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise &amp; performance manage the team to ensure they are fully motivated to achieve best performance to meet the company's needs. - Participate and work cohesively with teams including Marketing, Sales, Presales and support functions. - Be involved in recruitment, talent development, coaching &amp; mentoring. KEY SKILLS: - Minimum of 15 years progressive engineering work experience with 7+ years of leading high performing teams. - Should have worked majorly in services organizations, handling complex deliveries and environments. - Should be currently handling a portfolio that involves Project Management &amp; Client Engagement - adept at driving project delivery, planning, risk and governance. TECHNICAL SKILLS: - At least 5+ years of hands-experience in design and development through his/her career. - Strong understanding of technology, especially product development - preferably Multimedia (AV Solutions) or Embedded Systems/ Applications. If not, experience in Middleware, Publish-Subscribe, Multithreading, Distributed, Synchronous/ Asynchronous etc. architecture with embedded C, C++ or JAVA. - Should be able to design and architect complex programs - Must be comfortable at the engineering table and have the ability to identify technologies and show off a POC. PERSONALITY TRAITS: - Prior supervisory experience of 4 to 5 years with proven mentoring &amp; coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate &amp; inspire others. - Excellent written &amp; verbal communication skills focused on improving collaboration, - Exceptional relationship building and client handling skills - Able team manager, who can lead from the front - People centricity is a key ask for this role - an ability to inspire, empathise, and create a fun, energized workplace. - Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance &amp; in a fluid environment. - Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timing &amp; quality of outcomes.
