Job Description for Manager/Senior Manager - Direct Taxation

- Full DirectTax day to day compliance including review of monthly tax statements and payment of taxes before due dates

- Working on open tax litigations and finalizing submissions to be made before income tax authorities.

- Reviewing and Advising on International transaction from the standpoint of TDS, Transfer Pricing, and DTAA

- Ensuring proper and timely compilation and filing of the Income Tax Returns/ Transfer Pricing Returns and Tax Audit Reports.

- Ensuring to maintain proper documentation and reports for compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations.

- Filing of Various reports & returns on monthly/quarterly annually and periodically with Income Tax and TDS authorities.

- Ensuring Tax planning to optimize tax liability

- Work with Tax Consultants/Tax Counsel on assessment matters

- Should have exposure of dealing with all levels of Income Tax authorities up to Tribunal level.

- Should be well versed with latest developments/case laws in Direct Taxes and should be proficient in drafting submissions to the Tax authorities.
