Manager/Senior Manager - Corporate Finance Execution - Investment Bank (3-6 yrs)
A leading domestic investment bank is looking for a bright, motivated young professional with corporate finance experience. This role will give an opportunity to work alongside experienced industry leaders and be provided guidance and mentor ship within a team based environment.
1. To assist in the complete execution process on CF transactions. like - Project planning, Highlighting Risks on Key Deal Issues, Project Tracking & Client Interactions
2. To assist as part of a larger team in terms of due diligence, documentation, processing & financial and statistical analysis
3. To assist in financial analysis and modeling, drafting, company and industry research
4. Preparing client presentations and general support in all aspects of buy and sell-side transaction execution.
5. Assist in the documentation keeping in mind - due diligence, collection, collation and analysis of client information, Financial Implications, Regulatory Implications
6. Conduct multiple party interaction to ensure client information collection is accurate and timely
7. Help with risk analysis, planning, providing timelines, keeping track of the milestones. Preparation of information memorandum. Draft term sheets. Provide comments on Share Purchase Agreements / SHA / MOU
8. Take initiative to organize and participate in ideation session/meetings - Research & further develop the ideas generated during these sessions
9. Coordination with various participants & advisors
10. Track Industry on:
- Regulation changes
- Competitor Announcements & Results
- Provide updated alerts to supervisor
- Call reports/meeting notes
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
- You completed a postgraduate program Finance, Business Administration or Accounting (preferably);
- 3-5 years of experience in the Corporate Finance Department
- You have strong analytical and numerical skills that put you at ease with financial data;
- You are a proven team player with the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities;
- You are results-driven and perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines.
- You articulate complex ideas simply and summarize them effectively; ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages is an advantage.
- You possess superior computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Desk Research, etc.)
- You are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards
Must Have Experience :
- Assisting in the due-diligence and closing process of the transaction through constant contact with the Clients .
- Experience in SEBI regulations and documentation
- Candidates with relevant experience based in Mumbai only
