Presales Consultant ( Manager/Senior Manager - Sales)
- You will be on calls with the sales team with VMware; customers to support company sales for joint solution and service selling activities.
- You will act as a sales specialist to the company on-site sales team, with responsibility to advance the sales opportunity through the entire sales cycle
- You will work closely with various business units, marketing, sales, professional services, , and delivery engineering organizations in designing, validating, and building sales, technical, and service delivery proposals.
- Has to work along with company team member to oversee the proposal quote and proposal development and ultimately own the quality of the end product
- Ensure timely and consistent communication and delivery of assigned proposals to clients
- Contact clients with standard inquiries (i.e. clarifying baseline RFP/quote information, proposal delivery logistics, etc.)
Qualification: BE in IT preferred
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in professional services/solution engineering/consulting/technical sales
- Minimum of 8 years of infrastructure architecture experience with significant depth around designing and implementing
- Prior experience in addressing business and technical stakeholder requirements and translating these to appropriate solution architectures a must.
- Prior experience in developing sales, technical or service delivery collateral a must.
- Prior experience working with cloud solutions
- Working-level knowledge of VMware Horizon Suite is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Build the VMware EUC proposal to match the customer's vision, business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
- MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel
- Should be comfortable working in night shifts (7pm to 4 am)
