Manager/Senior Manager - Commercial & Purchase Analyst - Oil & Gas/Automobile/Construction

Role/ Responsibility:

- Convert a business requirement into an analytical problem statement and develop comprehensive analytical solutions using statistical procedure, and/ or domain knowledge depending on the requirements of the project

- Design, develop and implement analytical techniques on large, complex, structured and unstructured data sets (including big data) to derive meaningful insights and help make better decisions

- Build independent cost models and assist stakeholders for setting up cost targets

- Conduct impact analysis through data research, trend analysis, tracking key matrices and coordinating with stakeholders to quantify the changes

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelor in Engineering OR Master in Statistics/ Economics / Any Quantitative heavy domain from a tier- 1 institute

- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in business analytics driven space

Essential Skills Required:

- Superior problem solving and proven working experience as a data analyst

- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques

- Knowledge of statistics including but not limited to distributions, linear, non-linear, logistic models and clustering and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets

- Ability to conceptualize & create dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders including MBE(Management by Exception) representations

- Outstanding hands on experience on Advance Excel is mandatory

- Fluency in other MS office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access etc.)

- Knowledge of statistical tools like SAS, MATLAB, R is desired
