Manager/Senior Manager - Client Reporting - Real Estate

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Responsible for various duties, including preparation of financial reports, working with onshore partners, and review of technical accounting concepts and real estate operations.

Essential Functions :

- Prepare and review financial reports for internal and third-party clients

- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for management, rating agencies and lenders

- Perform detailed financial and variance analysis of significant account

- Research and prepare responses for communication with clients, explaining financial reports and variances

- Work with various accounting teams on variance explanations

- Work with internal partners to create efficiencies in preparing financial reports

- Learn month end reporting processes

- Shadow the communication with internal stakeholders, explaining financial reports and variances

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financials

- Participate in the onboarding process of new clients, ensuring all accounting information is gathered and communicated for a seamless transition

- Conduct special projects and prepare ad hoc reports at the request of management which includes research and providing conclusions on technical accounting issues

EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

Qualifications :

- MBA/ CA with experience in Finance/ Financial Reporting

- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience

- Yardi Voyager software experience a plus

- Knowledge of SQL is a plus

- Experience with BI Tools such as Looker, Tableau, MS Power BI, etc . is preferred.

- Proficient in MS Excel and Power Point

- Ability to handle large volumes of data

- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-growing environment
