Manager / Senior Manager / Chief Manager - Actuary- Pricing/ Valuation- Life Insurance

Pricing :

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE : To Supervise the Credit Life Quotation process including analysis of mortality experience and profitability of the portfolio.


- The individual will be responsible for assessing profitability of credit life schemes.

- Issuing quotes for credit life/group health/affinity schemes.

- Identifying loss making schemes for potential re-pricing, developing and designing new life insurance/health insurance products, modifying existing products to meet business needs. Supervision of pricing for group insurance schemes for Group Credit Life schemes

- Liaising with Group Sales team and reinsurer for group quotation

- High standards of technical rigor

- Experience of financial or risk reporting of complex financial products.

- Life Insurance experience is mandatory with minimum 4 Actuarial exams.


Internal Relations : Sales, UW, Ops

External Relations : Reinsurer

Valuation :

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE : The successful candidate will be a member of the actuarial valuation team which is responsible for internal and external actuarial reporting. The selected candidate will work extensively on Par fund management, reserving, IRDAI reporting and among other activities.


- Analysis and reporting related to Par fund management, With profit committee

- Valuation ; Monthly actuarial valuation of liabilities, associated reports and other MIS

- IRDAI reporting ; Annual and periodic regulatory submissions

- Ad-hoc reports ; Internal and regulatory


Internal Relations : Pro-active teamwork with actuarial colleagues for meeting deliverables

External Relations : Interacting effectively with other departments in the organisation to achieve objectives
