Manager/Senior Manager - Business Planning & Execution - Pharma/Healthcare (5-7 yrs)

Education:

- BE, MBA in Sales/Marketing, CMA, CA, CPA.

Purpose:

- Catalyst in developing and achieving long term and short term goals of the Country while optimizing the overall business risk profile

Experience:

- 5-7 years of working experience in Sales Finance and Partnering domain; preferably should have worked in International business within Pharma and Medtech companies

- Worked on Business planning and execution roles and participated in sales productivity and/or customer profitability improvement projects

- Good understanding of Customer profitability measures and growth process

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Collaborates with Sales & Marketing teams to create and implement long-range, strategic plans for the respective Country including Financial Projections.

- Drive market mapping exercise for Long term planning and resource allocation; implement driver based planning models

- Facilitate the development of annual operating plans that support the execution of the strategic plan

- Perform monthly Gross margin review jointly with Country Sales heads; identify gaps against budgets and devise action plans

- Daily coordination with country sales teams on pricing, schemes and dispatches from local warehouse; weekly coordination with country Supply Chain lead on inventory and back order

- Assist in local tender code mapping and de-coding, pricing support and documentation management (bank guarantee, certifications, etc.)

- Support in building and maintaining healthy relationship with local Distributor via inventory and investment optimization

- Contribute to Creativity ecosystem within the Cluster on various areas as key Customer engagement, competition tracking, ideas to increase distribution network and channels, productivity improvement areas and/or other areas.

- Continuously support sales team in identifying and implementing actions ensure Company attains leading position in the respective country

- Work closely as a Co-pilot with Country Sales Heads in improving Business outcomes - budget sales, margins, investment (inventory & AR) across countries and Clusters

- Closely monitor the consignment inventory at various hospitals for slow moving and non-moving products. Initiate liquidation actions jointly with Sales and Supply Chain teams

- Drive implementation of Zoho - CRM, secondary Sales/ERP/System and monitor the utilization on fortnightly/monthly basis

- Define credit limits basis HQ guidance and implement in the country. Drive collection from hospitals and distributors and follow-up on overdue

- Monitor progress, identify actions and actively work to resolve constraints /course corrections as needed

- Develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal stakeholders

- Assist Sales Leaders in annual and periodic target setting and release of incentive letters

- Computation of quarterly incentive to sales team and timely payment thereof (proposed)

- Cash flow planning and coordination with Cluster Head and Vapi accounts team for fund forecasting and optimization

- Prepare minutes of monthly meetings and implement actions to close the open items

- Lead compliance/legal activities within the country; act as bridge between HQ and local country teams to improve enhance compliance

- Drives consistent adoption of best practices and processes within the country

- Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

- Strong financial knowledge with ability to improve Business Health - customer profitability and inventory turns

- Hardworking, passionate and committed to deliver results with an entrepreneurial mindset. Strong execution capability; achieve deadlines

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Drives interpersonal relationships with Sales Leaders

- Good understanding of business administration, customer segmentation, sales and inventory forecasting strategies and techniques, Pricing and discounts, Competitive landscape analysis, Business Model design and optimization

- Good working fluency in local country language in addition to English.
