Manager/Senior Manager - Business Excellence - BFS (8-12 yrs)
Role Title - Manager/Sr. Manager - Business Excellence
Reports to - Head - Business Excellence
Qualification - Someone with engineering plus MBA from reputed B-School with overall 8-10 years of experience. Should have consulting and Lean/Six Sigma project implementation experience. ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt certification and Operations management background will be added advantage.
Purpose of the role :
- To support business teams in improving business processes in organisation by undertaking and monitoring progress of improvement projects, implementation of quality assurance, reporting project progress to senior management, internal review of policies and processes to minimise operational risk, organizing six sigma trainings and motivate & engage departments
Key Responsibility -
Project Management -
- Influence and motivate employees in different departments to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous improvement
- Advice, guide and monitor departmental Continuous Improvement projects teams on implementation of improvement projects to deliver quality results on time and with proper six sigma/PDCA rigor
- Guide teams in creating project collaterals. Help teams perform high level analytics using tools like Minitab on determining, monitoring and improving key processes maturity
- End to End project management support for various projects across departments. Help in analysing and reporting performance review reports of various teams on a monthly basis
Process Management -
- Maintain process repository (iGrafx/Sparx/any other tool) of various process workflows by defining and managing norms for licence management, password management, user privileges etc.
- Help departments to create process control and management like metrics, monitoring systems etc.
- Ensure all departmental policies are linked to relevant processes and they are being reviewed periodically
- Process level operational risk identification, potential failure modes identification and mitigation strategies
- Ensure departments follow proper change management approach
Quality Assurance -
- Work with departments to ensure quality checks and tollgates across project milestones are adhered to
- Work with departments to ensure Quality Metrics in place and meet goals, trigger containment actions and corrective actions as appropriate
- Validate effectiveness of remediation actions via discretionary quality assurance with respect to compliance with regulatory and organisation's policies
Others -
- Work with Internal operational audit team for appropriate scoping of audits
- Help organisation in enterprise certifications like ISO 9001, ISO 140001 and ISO 31000 etc.
- Help departments manage change with implementation of enterprise systems
- Support team to institutionalize Yellow belt certification process
- Establish creative methods to motivate and engage departments
- Awards - Identify awards for which organisation can apply and help departments to draft applications, assist in showcasing results with proper data analysis
