Primary purpose of the position: To lead Export sales and distribution for the organization for a specific geographical region
Main responsibilities/ Principal duty:
1. Achieve export targets in line with the organization's geographical strategy
2. To handle the existing business as well as generate new business opportunities across global market
3. Negotiating contracts with foreign sales and distribution centers and other parties such as shippers, agents and vendors
4. Lead and assist in the efforts to deliver world-class customer service.
5. Build comprehensive international market knowledge, trends, and market research database
6. Assist New Product Development (NPD), export correspondence, documentation, preparation and submission of custom clearance documents
EDUCATION / EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:
- MBA IB /Sales and Marketing
- 10 years plus of experience Handling Export sales in similar industry
- Currently Handling South America Markets with minimum experience in SA of 3 years
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND / OR SKILLS:
- Ability to integrate and interpret disparate sources of data and information relating to export markets and international affairs
- Demonstrate strong commercial acumen
- Demonstrates high degree of curiosity.
- Invest time and energy into learning and executing at the same time
Influencing skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
